Why “Asking for a Friend” ? Because sometimes, asking for yourself feels like too much. I get it.

I’m here when you’re ready – whether you’re navigating grief, preparing for marriage, facing a major life change, or finding yourself through it all.

Helping you through:

Life transitions and milestones

Relationship struggles

Heartbreak and separation

Stuckness or emotional numbness

Grief and loss

Depression, anxiety, and ADHD

You set the pace, one session at a time.

How much for a session and do you bill insurance directly?

Virtual sessions are $150 and in-person sessions $170. We accept all major credit cards and you pay directly on JaneApp (no e-transfers).

Sadly, no direct billing at the moment. You would have to submit a claim yourself to your benefits provider.

How do you incorporate faith into therapy with Muslim clients?

I’m not an Imam so I do not work on spiritual functioning, but more so psychological functioning, and yes sometimes those can overlap. I do not bring up Islamic content or resources unless clients verbally bring it up themselves or are looking for that lens more.

I strongly believe no individual is better than another or has the right to judge the faults and shortcomings of another. Come as you are and if you wish to speak about your relationship with God, I am certainly equipped to help you explore that.

If you are looking for faith-based interventions to help reduce symptoms, or improve relationships, or remove distortions, I can incorporate that.

Do you do in-person sessions?

Yes, my office is located at 192 Main St E, Milton, Ontario. You can book a session using this platform.

A lot of your focus and content seems to be catered to dudes. Do you support female clients also?

Yes! While it is true that typically male clients gravitate towards me, I do currently see female clients.

We cannot envision the next generation of healthy emotional men if we do not also support moms, daughters, wives, friends, etc. It takes a village.

Do you think I need therapy?

Probably…

Beyond therapy sessions, I offer workshops, courses, and groups for collective healing. I’m passionate about breaking inter-generational trauma and building stronger families.
