Start from the middle. Pick an emotion you feel in this moment right now.

Then, go to the middle section and stay within the same colour. Pick any emotions in that middle tier that resonate with you here and now.

Then go into the outer section in the same colour and pick any emotions you may feel right now. Then say “I notice I am feeling __“.

Sometimes what we are experiencing can feel so overwhelming and consuming that we cannot identify it. Identifying what we are feeling gives us clarity and the ability to sit with it.

Practice this frequently to build emotional awareness.

Grounding ourselves by noticing our body is a tried and tested way of combatting anxiety.

Headspace is a great app, though a bit pricey. Worth getting for a short period of time if you are really going through a rough patch.
